My prof has been bugging me to join the petrochemical industry instead of the aerospace industry after I graduate.

His logic was that aeronautical engineers are not being compensated well in Singapore.... and besides, what I learn in aeronautical engineering is highly applicable to the petrochemical industry as well.

doesn't make the stories less factual...

what they are not allowed to print is just yanked... the rest are factual... which makes the stories credible..

however, the analyses of the paper will probably be taken with a pinch of salt.. but they will be factual...

it beats the hell out of freedom to print "Elvis weds Martian and is living in El Salvador"

Well, I was considering a lot of options prior to studying engineering.

I was considering journalism... but SPH turned down my scholarship application.

I was considering chemistry.... but opportunities are limited in Singapore.

I was considering law..... but I decided that it's not the kind of thing I would want to do for a living.

Hell, I was for a time considering joining the police force as a detective.
